TPC Myrtle Beach, located in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, is a Tour-caliber course that blends championship pedigree with Lowcountry charm. Designed by Tom Fazio and opened in 1999, the course has hosted legends like Tom Watson, Gary Player, and Lee Trevino, and was the site of the Senior Tour Championship in 2000.
Set among gently undulating terrain and framed by native pines and wetlands, TPC Myrtle Beach offers a strategic test that rewards precision and nerve. The par-4 9th hole, rated stroke index 1, features water guarding the right side of the landing zone, while the par-5 18th delivers a dramatic finish with a creek and pond flanking the fairway. The course’s routing subtly shifts with the coastal breezes, and its bentgrass greens demand a deft touch.
