Day 1 done: Ruffels and Bryan go through

The second Internet Invitational, run by Barstool Sports and Bob Does Sports and hosted by Dave Portnoy, brought 64 golf YouTubers, athletes and entertainers to Big Cedar Lodge in Missouri for a $4 million purse, four times the first one, with $1.3 million for each of the four winners. It was filmed in August 2026 and comes out in six episodes on YouTube, from 26 October to 12 November.

The 64 voted for their captains and the pros won it: Brad Dalke, Wesley Bryan, Peter Finch and Ryan Ruffels, who snake-drafted teams of 16. Ruffels won the captains' closest to the pin, worth $5,000 to every player on his team, and chose to play Finch, which left Dalke against Bryan.

Day 1 at Ozarks National was eight 2v2 scramble matches in the morning and eight alternate shot matches in the afternoon for each pairing. Team Bryan beat Team Dalke comfortably, around 10.5 to 5.5, with Wesley Bryan and Bobby Fairways winning both their matches. Finch and Ruffels finished level at 8–8, and in sudden death on the 18th Grant Horvat splashed out of a bunker and Big John holed the birdie putt to send Team Ruffels through.

Team Ruffels and Team Bryan, 32 players, play Day 2 in Episode 3 on Monday 2 November. Team Finch and Team Dalke, including the defending champion Brad Dalke, are out.
